Responsibilities for the Construction Superintendent
Lead onsite teams and supervise a range of construction projects from start to finish.
Oversee and plan all onsite construction activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Coordinate project schedules, forecast resources, and manage budgets.
Evaluate progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Use scheduling software to track progress and document project status.
Manage subcontractors, perform quality control, and maintain site safety.
Adjust operations as needed to meet deadlines.
Maintain daily logs and provide updates to management.
Implement value engineering to optimize costs and efficiencies.
Foster good relations with officials, owners, and trades.
Assist in site preparation for project delivery.
Requirements
5+ years of onsite supervision experience in multifamily residential construction.
BS Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of building codes and ADA laws.
Experience with site construction, MEP trades, and interior finishes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical ability to walk sites and perform inspections.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Ownership mindset, integrity, teamwork, and passion for construction.
Location The role is primarily onsite in Naples, FL, with some participation in company meetings at the corporate office. Safety is a priority, and all hazards are managed according to company policies.
