
Job Description
Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and growth. Partners with GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, ability to source from multiple suppliers, and direct drivers to ensure timely delivery. Full‑time position.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
Provide day‑to‑day supervisory support for Team Members
Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Maintain commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Parts and automotive system knowledge
Operating POS and parts lookup systems
ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

Advanced selling skills for commercial customers
Ability to multi‑task and remain organized
Essential Job Skills
Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust, etc.)
Strong verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus
Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, procedure manuals)
Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
Pass the Parts Knowledge Assessment
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Understand commercial profitability concepts and pricing strategies
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred
Proven sales ability with customer transaction fulfillment
Experience leading teams and supervising daily tasks
Education & Credentials
High school diploma or GED
Ase certification preferred but not required
Physical Demands Employee must be able to walk or stand extensively, use hands and fingers to handle items, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment Primarily indoors; occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, moderate noise.
Position eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
