JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Measurement Technicians and Supervisors with routine measurement functions.

Learn and gain a foundational understanding of Natural Gas Characteristics, Gas Plant Operations, Engine & Compressor Maintenance, and Gas & Liquid Measurement. Regular verbal review sessions will assess progress.

Perform scheduled calibrations, gas sampling, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of Electronic Flow Measurement equipment, specifically TotalFlow.

Witness and verify third‑party meter calibrations.

Assist in the operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of H2S monitors. Locate and track H2S within the pipeline system.

Maintain and clean assigned work areas, including the Measurement shop, office, and company truck.

Train new hires and other technicians on Targa’s safety procedures, mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs.

Complete required paperwork such as work/hot work permits, lockout/tagout documentation, and participate in tailgate safety sessions.

Actively participate in all safety meetings and safety functions.

Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others working alongside you.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call‑outs as needed.

Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.

Capacity to work in changing climate conditions.

Ability to work in close quarters (kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, standing).

Adherence to all PPE guidelines (e.g., eye protection, footwear, Nomex).

Regular and reliable attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of natural gas gathering and processing.

Understanding of gas and liquid chromatography.
