Our client, a well-established insurance organization, is seeking a dynamic Commercial Lines Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering exceptional service to commercial clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape department strategy, drive process improvements, and guide a hybrid team across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will combine operational expertise with strong leadership skills, helping to enhance efficiency, implement innovative tools, and build a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives and Account Managers to achieve department goals.

Manage day-to-day operations and ensure workflows align with established playbooks and best practices.

Oversee performance management initiatives including reviews, goal setting, and coaching cycles.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, and Risk Advisory teams to ensure seamless sales-to-service transitions.

Supervise outsourcing and partner relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with standards.

Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of process efficiencies and technology-driven solutions.

Monitor departmental performance metrics and champion accountability across a dispersed hybrid workforce.

Cultivate a team-first culture emphasizing client focus, communication, and professional growth.

Support organizational initiatives including segmentation, cross-sell, and client retention strategies.

Qualifications Must Haves

Minimum of five years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

At least two years of experience leading or managing teams.

Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop client-facing professionals.

Holds and maintains an active Property & Casualty license.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage workflows and performance.

Comfortable working in a process-driven, hybrid environment and traveling as needed between multiple offices.

Preferred

Experience managing outsourced partnerships or service vendors.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance management systems.

Familiarity with efficiency tools or AI-enabled process improvements.
