iLocatum . We have a client in NYC looking for a Retail Manager to manage in-store shops for higher end brick and mortar retailers around the NYC area.
Experience with home soft goods (bedding, bath, window, etc.) is required.
This person will oversee retail operations, drive customer experience, and ensure that these in-store shops reflect their brand value and positioning. They will travel between locations to train staff, ensuring they have the latest information on product offerings. They will also report back the information that comes from these shops about desired product and improvements. They will oversee the day-to-day retail operations of these in-store shops, managing inventory, visual merchandising and layout. Our client is working a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day retail operations of in-store shops, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and shop layout.
Travel between locations to train staff and ensure staff have the latest information on product offerings.
Gather and report feedback from shops on desired products and improvements to inform merchandising and product strategy.
Drive customer experience and ensure stores reflect the brand value and positioning.
Qualifications
Experience with home soft goods (bedding, bath, window, etc.) is required.
Experience managing retail operations and supervising staff.
