Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Radiologic Technologist
to join our team in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role is perfect for both experienced technologists and new graduates eager to begin their career in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by providers while following all radiation safety guidelines (ALARA principles).
Prepare and transmit diagnostic images to the Radiologist for review and interpretation.
Room patients, obtain and record vital signs, and document patient history.
Assist patients and providers as needed with mobility, transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms; ensure adequate supply stock.
Transport patients safely and efficiently as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ).
Licensure:
Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Florida.
CPR:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
No experience required— new graduates are encouraged to apply!
