St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on serving individuals with a substance use disorder. The ideal candidate will hold independent licensure in the state of Kentucky and possess a strong background in therapeutic approaches for substance use disorder. Responsibilities
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions through a trauma-competent lens to address substance use disorders and promote recovery. Enhance motivation for change, evoking change while honoring the autonomy of the individual served. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients\' needs and progress throughout their recovery journey. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy and develop individual treatment plans, adhering to regulatory standards. Understand the disease model with particular appreciation for addiction medicine as one pathway to recovery. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient care. Meet patient care expectations for the position. Qualifications
Master\'s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field. Independent licensure in Kentucky as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or equivalent. Experience in addiction medicine, therapeutic counseling, or mental health services is preferred. Must have 80 hours of continuing education related to substance use disorders within four years of starting with the organization or obtain within two years of hire date. Expertise in evidence-based therapy methods, including CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care. Strong communication and relationship-building skills to foster trust with patients. Schedule & Benefits
