Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist , you can expect: The ability to build trusted in-person therapist-patient relationships Continuing education and tuition reimbursement opportunities Independence and autonomy Career growth possibilities Responsibilities Evaluate patients to determine rehab potential, identify needs, establish individualized treatment plans, and set goals for the team plan of care. Set initial short-term and long-term goals. Utilize equipment safely, maintain inspection, maintenance, and cleaning logs, and report broken or faulty equipment. Maintain logs for required outpatient equipment. Follow and adhere to the medical regimen developed for each patient, including precautions related to THR, TKR, cardiac, wound care, etc. Use safe treatment techniques such as transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin baths, cryotherapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc. Complete discharge summaries on the final visit to outpatient physical therapy. Education and Experience Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice. Current CPR certification.
