Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Days

in the Emergency Room. Shift: 7a-7p Friday–Sunday. Weekend Pay, Student Loan Contribution, and full benefits (medical, vision, dental, 401k match). Job Summary

The RN provides patient‑centered care through the nursing process, coordinating and delivering high‑quality care based on protocols and physician orders. The RN collaborates with providers to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, maintaining a supportive environment. Essential Functions

Coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, document findings accurately, and report changes to the care team. Utilize knowledge of human growth to provide age‑appropriate care and education. Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration. Assist physicians during procedures within scope. Collaborate to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life‑saving interventions such as CPR and code team activities. Advocate for patient rights and needs, ensuring voices are heard. Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Implement infection control protocols to prevent HAIs. Monitor and operate medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators) as needed. Promote patient safety by adhering to national patient safety goals. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and compliance checks. Demonstrate responsible decision‑making in planning, delegating, and providing care. Document patient care and education thoroughly and promptly. Engage in professional development to maintain competency. Participate in performance improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance; comply with policies and standards. Qualifications

0–2 years clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute‑care setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical practices. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively. Proficient in medication administration and monitoring side effects. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation. Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives. Licenses and Certifications

Registered Nurse – State licensure (REQUIRED) Basic Life Support (BCLS) – REQUIRED Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – PREFFERED Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – PREFFERED Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) – PREFFERED
