Overview

The Scraper-Heavy Equipment Operator is required to excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under general supervision of a Field Foreman in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner. Routine maintenance and repair to equipment in addition to other duties are also required. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers and other pieces of equipment. The Scraper-Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean and ensure all equipment is in proper condition. Martin Construction Inc. uses CAT Models and will be expected to operate 627\'s, 637\'s and 657\'s. Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment and perform excavation, movement, grading, and compaction tasks under supervision. Conduct routine maintenance and repair to equipment; ensure equipment is in proper condition. Qualifications
