DME Coordinator-Hospital Account Manager
position in the Spokane, WA territory in the Cougar Region. This role requires frequent driving (5-40%). It offers an opportunity to improve patient lives, deliver valuable service and cost savings to the medical community, and gain significant healthcare experience. The responsibilities include: Managing daily inventory and product stocking to ensure availability for treatment. Communicating with clinical staff to obtain proper documentation for billable episodes of care. Performing measurements and applications of orthopedic soft good devices such as CPMs, knee orthoses, spinal bracing, ankle-foot orthotics, and others. Screening calls and emails regarding patient status and reporting issues to physicians and care providers. Serving as a resource for nursing and therapy staff, providing in-service training as needed. Collaborating with nursing and therapy staff to organize and prioritize patient care functions. Demonstrating competency in soft goods like CPMs per MD orders. Taking initiative, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining professional accountability. Adhering to policies and procedures related to patient care. Participating in a call rotation to service the hospital during weekends and after hours. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License Ability to drive 5-40% of the time The compensation range is $38,000 to $50,000 annually, with expense reimbursement for eligible driving-related expenses.
