Job Summary:
We’re seeking an adaptable, confident, empathetic Radiology Technologist to provide quality diagnostic imaging at Sanford Health. The role involves working in various settings including clinic, hospital, ED, and OR, with fields like fluoroscopy, surgery, orthopedics, general, and emergency. Precision in imaging is crucial for accurate diagnoses. Opportunities exist for advancement into modalities like CT, MRI, and Mammo.
Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations ensuring quality images
Ensures accurate patient positioning according to provider requests
Implements radiation safety and protection practices
Navigate electronic medical records (EMR)
Perform basic radiology tasks and follow protocols
Perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, DEXA procedures
Qualifications:
Completion of an educational program accepted by ARRT
Knowledge of radiographic principles, positioning, processing, quality control, radiation protection
ARRT registration required
Licensure requirements vary by state (ND, SD, IA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks
Driver's license may be required
