Pipefitter - Process Piping

Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, install, and maintain process piping systems including stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping. Perform orbital welding with precision in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Conduct butt fusion of plastic piping systems according to approved procedures. Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Ensure all piping installations are clean, precise, and compliant with cGMP requirements. Conduct system pressure testing and validation activities. Maintain safe working conditions following all OSHA, site-specific, and cGMP safety protocols. Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and QA/QC staff to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including weld logs and as-built drawings.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter. Demonstrated experience in: Orbital welding of stainless steel tubing. Butt fusion of HDPE and other plastic piping materials. Working in regulated cleanroom or cGMP environments. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process schematics. Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and precision. OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred). Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
Preferred Attributes
Certification in orbital welding (preferred but not required). Previous experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or chemical manufacturing facilities. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting. Professional communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
