Valuation

Analyst

for their Los Angeles office to join their growing team of investment professionals who focus on middle market direct lending strategies. The position is primarily responsible for valuing fund investments with a focus on direct lending and private equity investments. Duties include: Perform research and analysis for valuation of senior secured loans and private equity investments through review of credit agreements, borrower-related documentation, and other investment documents. Collect and summarize key terms and features of investments. Build, implement, and maintain valuation models for investments in our Corporate Lending Fund, Enhanced Lending Fund, and Private Capital Fund. Reconcile loan inputs, valuations, and terms generated from internal models daily with valuations used and to calculate end-of-day net asset values (NAV) for the funds. Effectively liaise with each co-investment counterparty and deal team to collect investment inputs and other valuation documentation and support. Assist with fund audits by gathering support for valuations and responding to questions related to valuation methodologies and inputs/assumptions used. Monitor daily changes in the market generally and S&P/LSTA Leveraged Loan Index specifically to identify potential changes in valuation inputs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field 1-3 years of relevant experience; previous private credit and private equity valuation experience Familiarity with our firm's research Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects Keen attention to detail with strong analytical skills Effective communication skills Skilled in prioritizing deliverables and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well within a team environment or individually as needed Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs The position will be located in the firm's Los Angeles office.
