PG Global is seeking an Maintenance Superintendent to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations and high performance.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
Oversee maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordination with contractors and vendors.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Qualifications: Marine shipping background and LNG experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and preventive maintenance best practices.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb, or lift equipment and tools as required.
May require working in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying environmental conditions.
Availability for on‑call or after‑hours maintenance emergencies.
