
Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients in Healthcare, Fintech, Defense Industry, or Commercial Aerospace.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to contribute to campaign strategies and develop content.
Identify and participate in industry conferences and webinars to network and generate business opportunities.
Conduct speaking engagements targeting C-level executives and general business prospects to showcase our services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
Assess client needs and propose tailored custom software solutions.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Utilize HubSpot CRM to track and manage prospects, leads, opportunities and sales activities. Keep this information current.
Report weekly on sales progress, providing metrics for the company dashboard.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience selling custom software development in one or more of the following industries: Healthcare, Fintech, Defense Industry, or Commercial Aerospace.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in speaking at industry conferences and webinars, with the ability to engage C-level executives and business prospects.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a technical sales engineering team.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
Achievement of revenue and weighted pipeline targets and sales activity goals.
Effective management of sales and opportunity pipelines.
Timely and accurate reporting of sales metrics.
Successful collaboration with Marketing to create campaign strategies and develop content.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel, mostly local, to meet in-person with prospects, to network, and/or to attend relevant events that may lead to sales opportunities.
