We are seeking a full-time Community Programs Specialist to drive growth within a defined territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across multiple community-oriented sales verticals. This role requires a motivated, experienced self-starter with a proven outside sales track record who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact from day one. You will engage directly with prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, in-person visits, and product demonstrations. Success requires territory management, technical aptitude, and interpersonal excellence. You should be curious, coachable, and resilient, able to learn our solutions, navigate objections with empathy, and communicate our mission with clarity and conviction. Location/Residency

Only candidates residing in Southeast Texas will be considered. What You’ll Do

Identifying and prospecting for new customers, reaching out to potential leads by email, heavy outbound calling, and dropping in for in-person visits and demonstrations Setting up quality sales meetings and appointments. Nurture relationships and close deals. Regularly travel throughout your territory (approximately 20% travel). Develop creative, customized outreach ideas to reach new customers. Engage with resilience, positivity, curiosity, and passion for the mission in outreach and follow-up activities. Build relationships across diverse markets such as law enforcement, Fire/EMS, large enterprise, and small to mid-size businesses and organizations. Required Skills & Experience

Proven outside sales success with experience selling emergency response, safety, medical equipment, or related products to public sector clients (e.g., law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, educational institutions, municipal organizations). Territory management: experience owning and managing a geographic territory, building a high-performing pipeline, engaging key decision-makers, and developing strategic relationships. Presentation & product expertise: capable of delivering in-person demos and sales presentations across SaaS and physical products. Technical aptitude: ability to quickly develop deep technical knowledge of new products and solutions. Tool proficiency: proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Google Workspace. Interpersonal strengths: strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities with a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Firsthand public safety experience: experience working or volunteering as a public safety professional or first responder (law enforcement, EMS, fire service, or 911 telecommunications).
