Production Coordinator - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OH
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate the movement of product and tooling between shop and storage to support upcoming operations.
Identify and ensure the availability of all materials, tooling, and software needed to complete upcoming operations without delay.
Ensure job progress is not hindered by lack of tooling or materials.
Follow up to ensure timely delivery of ordered materials.
Manage drop zones with Material Services and Operations to ensure unneeded tooling and materials are removed, and needed ones are available.
Coordinate effectively with Zone Controller, Tooling Readiness Coordinators, Shift FLMs, and others involved in the process.
Use systems such as Microsoft Suite, SAP/ERP, and custom dashboards to coordinate activities.
Willingness to work any shift, including occasional weekends.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
Strong communication and coordination skills, with interest in working across multiple disciplines in manufacturing.
Experience with scheduling software programs.
Minimum of 0-2 years related experience.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Adherence to COVID-19 workplace requirements and willingness to undergo a federal background investigation for security clearance.
