You’ll assist in the entire business life cycle of private companies, from inception to growth, maturity and transition, helping design and implement service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. Responsibilities As a Manager, work as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone and act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively. Coach others, recognize strengths, and encourage ownership of personal development. Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations. Use multiple information sources, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations. Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet expectations. Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making. Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients. Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and positive outcomes for all parties. Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points. Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct. Basic Qualifications Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree Required Fields Of Study: Accounting Minimum Years Of Experience: 4 year(s) Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity Required Knowledge And Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write Japanese. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in complex tax issues faced by US, non-publicly traded entities with extensive operations in Japan. Preferred Knowledge/Skills Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs: building and maintaining client networks, communicating value propositions, managing resources, project workflow, budgets, and billing; preparing complex written and verbal materials; supervising teams to foster trust and innovation; coaching staff with timely feedback.
