Position Overview We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Contract Sales Executive to drive new business and expand strategic partnerships with healthcare networks, specialty pharmacies, and large provider groups. Unlike traditional reps focused on single-product promotion, this role emphasizes structuring and closing long-term pharmaceutical contracts. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience selling pharmaceutical services or contracts and a track record of winning major accounts. Success requires negotiation skills, credibility with decision-makers, and the ability to execute complex deal cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory and account strategy focused on securing large-scale contracts.

Build and deepen relationships with executives at hospitals, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, and large healthcare practices.

Lead contract negotiations and present value propositions that align with client needs.

Identify opportunities for contract expansion, renewals, and upselling additional services.

Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to differentiate our firm’s value.

Maintain disciplined pipeline management and reporting in CRM.

Collaborate with internal legal, operations, and leadership teams to ensure smooth execution of agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.

2–3 years of direct experience selling pharmaceutical contracts, services, or specialty pharmacy solutions (experience with Apex Health or comparable firms preferred).

Demonstrated success in closing six- and seven-figure deals.

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution channels, payer dynamics, and healthcare compliance.

Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills at the executive level.

Self-starter with proven ability to manage long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes.

Willingness to travel regionally to meet with key clients.
