Phlebotomist II Float
Quest Diagnostics | Plantation, FL | Monday to Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (rotational Saturday 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
Job Description We are looking for a Phlebotomist II Float to perform blood collection duties across multiple patient centers. In this float role you will frequently shift to different locations, providing quality patient care, supporting our laboratory testing needs, and ensuring a positive experience for patients.
Pay Pay range: $19.32+ per hour. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
Enter billing information and collect payment when required
Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees; serve as resource advisor for staff on site
Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA
Work Experience
Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
Keyboard/data entry experience
The position requires effective communication in English.
