Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth, partnering with GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, ability to source from multiple channels and direct drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Full‑time position.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain commercial customer relationships

Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers

Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives

Provide day‑to‑day supervisory support for Team Members

Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members

Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved

Maintain commercial stocking programs

Build and maintain a network of second‑source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintain core bank and commercial returns

Maintain commercial credit accounts

Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Parts and automotive system knowledge skills

Operating POS and Parts lookup systems

ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

Advanced solution, project and product quality recommendation ability

Ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc.

Advanced selling skills for commercial customers

Ability to multi‑task and remain organized

Essential Job Skills

Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability (internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust, etc.)

Strong communication in English (Spanish a plus); build relationships with customers, peers and management

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; write simple correspondence

Execute written, oral or diagram instruction

Success on Parts Knowledge Assessment

Basic math accuracy: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers and decimals

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong organizational skills

Understanding of commercial profitability concepts, market opportunities, and customer prioritization

Availability to work assorted days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience

Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience

Proven sales ability in customer transaction fulfillment

Formal or informal experience leading teams, supervising daily tasks, and achieving goals

Education High school diploma or GED.

Certificates & Licenses ASE certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Work predominantly indoors; occasional outdoor exposure. Requires walking, standing, handling up to 100 lbs, reaching, bending, speaking, and hearing. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical shock, and moderate noise.

All employees must be able to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with every individual. Position may require use of customer service software and Sales and Parts POS systems.
