We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanics for our location located in South Bend, Indiana, who values safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on automotive repair. As a Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers. Hour's requirements are 8am - 5pm M-F, with willingness to work overtime as needed. If you are enthusiastic about the automotive repair industry, reliable, and have a positive attitude please apply!

Essential Functions
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic scan tools and other equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Replace suspension parts and able to perform alignments. Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to Service Advisors, management, and customers if needed in a clear and understandable manner. Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.

Education
Skills & Abilities:
High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
Experience
2-4 years’ experience as a mechanic in the tire and service industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certifications/Licenses
Valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements
