
Responsibilities
DIVISION DESCRIPTION:
Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division offers integrated solutions in Research, Investment and Risk Management, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, and Currencies & Commodities structuring. Our goal is to provide investors with comprehensive multi-asset market solutions. We focus on client needs with an advisory and innovative approach, leveraging our leadership in financial markets engineering. Global Markets excels in derivatives, with expertise in OTC and listed derivatives, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services uniquely combine execution, clearing, custody, and financing services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce predictions for major US indices (S&P, Russell, Nasdaq, CRSP) and other index families.
Implement and maintain systematic tools to monitor scheduled and ad-hoc index events.
Analyze corporate actions and assess their impact on index changes.
Conduct fundamental research on companies using official SEC filings.
Follow index methodology changes and update processes accordingly.
Optimize portfolio risks using in-house or vendor tools.
Coordinate with other regions to produce worldwide indices (MSCI, FTSE, etc.) predictions.
Execute trades and monitor portfolio performance.
Profile required
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
Deep understanding of major US Index methodologies.
Hands-on experience in producing index change predictions.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C#, etc.).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
Bachelor's degree.
English language skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with portfolio optimization models.
Understanding of transaction cost models and execution systems.
