The UMC is currently seeking a Manager of Life Enrichment (Activities) for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person‑directed care in a home‑like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.
The Manager of Life Enrichment (Activities) for Independent Living (IL) is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents in the Independent Living community at Bristol Glen. This position ensures that programs support residents’ physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional well‑being while fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging community culture. The Manager of Life Enrichment serves as a key leader in promoting quality of life and resident satisfaction, while also coordinating interdepartmental and community partnerships.
Requirements
High School Diploma.
Bachelor's preferred in recreational therapy, psychology, sociology, or related field.
1 year experience in a related field.
Previous long term care or assisted living experience preferred.
Completion of an Activities education program approved by the state.
