Position Summary Do you have a passion for fresh food, follow recipes, and enjoy helping people? In this role you will prepare daily food items, wrap and label products, and keep our rotisserie chicken and prepared foods area clean and well stocked. Attention to detail, speed, and a friendly smile are essential.
Base Pay Range $16.00/hr – $23.00/hr (Pay will reflect experience and skill)
What You'll Do
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications and help educate colleagues on tools and resources.
Prepare food according to specifications, plan future mass production, and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
Manage the preparation area, ensuring quality, date control, and waste elimination.
Model high‑quality service and product standards, serving as an ambassador for the department.
Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and use the Open Door policy for continuous improvement.
Impact
Ensure high‑quality products are available on the prepared foods shelf.
Maintain cleanliness, temperature control, and expiration dates to prevent spoilage.
Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food efficiently.
Handle claims, returns, and floor zoning in accordance with company policies.
Keep the sales floor safe, organized, and ready for members.
Additional Compensation Premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
