Our ideal candidate has great customer service skills and can tackle everything from fielding customer concerns and scheduling appointments for our service department to make accurate calls about vehicle warranty protections. Responsibilities: • Verify warranty protections, review service contract coverage, create cost estimates, and all other documentation to facilitate vehicle service work • Communicate necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointments by explaining automotive technology in a clear, digestible manner • Manage all automotive paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records • Maintain the service department schedule and slot appointments for vehicle repairs • Arrange for timely vehicle pick-up at the dealership following the completion of work orders Qualifications: • A high school diploma or GED is required • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed • Previous experience working as a service technician or in a service department a plus • Possession of a valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is integral • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary Compensation: $42,500-$67,000
