Automotive Service Advisor

Responsibilities: • Verify warranty protections, review service contract coverage, create cost estimates, and all other documentation to facilitate vehicle service work • Communicate necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointments by explaining automotive technology in a clear, digestible manner • Manage all automotive paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records • Maintain the service department schedule and slot appointments for vehicle repairs • Arrange for timely vehicle pick-up at the dealership following the completion of work orders Qualifications: • A high school diploma or GED is required • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed • Previous experience working as a service technician or in a service department a plus • Possession of a valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is integral • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary Compensation: $42,500-$67,000 •
