$45 to $55 per hour (depending on experience) Overview A growing pharmaceutical company is seeking an Accounting Compliance Consultant to lead state and local tax and regulatory compliance, including multi-state operations and recent acquisitions. This role will evaluate current processes, implement scalable procedures, and ensure accurate and timely filings. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of compliance initiatives. Contract role with potential to convert to full-time. Location:

MS Dynamics Responsibilities
Research and ensure compliance with state and local tax requirements for multiple business segments and acquisitions.
Manage business license registrations, filings, and communication with state/municipal agencies.
Support new locations, organizational changes, audits, and property tax filings.
Maintain insurance certificate renewals, COIs, and other compliance documentation.
Identify filing requirements, resolve compliance gaps, and support ad-hoc accounting tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA a plus.
3+ years in tax, compliance, or related accounting roles (state/local focus preferred).
Experience with municipal/business license compliance, ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP), and reporting/Excel analysis.
Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to research and resolve compliance issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
