Summary The Account Manager works with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. The role supports day‑to‑day account management, renewals, marketing, and client communications, while learning to manage a book of business under senior team guidance. "
" Key Responsibilities " " " " Prepare pre‑renewal presentations for internal strategy sessions " " Present pre‑renewal material to clients with Account Executives " " Collect renewal information from clients and prepare insurance submissions for annual renewal policies " " Work with senior team members to send RFPs to applicable insurance carriers " " Negotiate insurance renewals with multiple carriers " " Review quotes against submissions, current coverage, and alternative options " " Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients " " Review policies to ensure accuracy " " Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures; may be responsible for maintaining client policy records in the agency management system " " Track ongoing account activities and facilitate regular update calls with the client " " Track and update bordereaux for any blanket policies (e.g., Builders Risk, Wrap‑Up) " " Review contracts and provide thorough contract reviews to the client, working with owner‐insurance advisors if necessary " " Work with Account Coordinator or Resource Team to issue certificates and invoices " " Conduct marketing exercises for bids/tenders outside annual programs " " Present updates on claims to client " " Assist with billing questions from clients and insurance carrier personnel with assistance from Accounting when necessary " "
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: " " Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills " " Self‑confident to make sound independent decisions " " Ability to interact with a variety of people and function well in both team and autonomous environments " " Ability to handle situations calmly, courteously, and professionally " " Customer‑focused to establish and maintain effective relationships " " Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) " " Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines " " Must be able to read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports " " Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills " " Sharp attention to detail, decision‑making skills, and problem resolution " " Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology " " Education: Associate’s degree (or equivalent); BA/BS preferred " " More than 3 years of client‑service and/or industry and product line experience " " Ability to obtain licensing if required " " "

Base salary range:
