Job Summary This is an Arizona pipeline position that will be opened on a recurring basis and used to fill roles aligned with the required skill sets. The Commercial Account Manager will own the SLED commercial territory, prospecting and acquiring net‑new customers while expanding into new departments, districts, and agencies. The primary responsibility is to achieve assigned territory revenue goals by managing a pipeline of sales opportunities through the sales process from prospect to close. The role is quota‑driven and requires representation of NetApp in top named commercial accounts within the territory.

Job Responsibilities

Develop a strategic territory plan for key accounts to align the full account team on growth strategy.

Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities in collaboration with key partners to achieve territory‑specific revenue goals.

Maintain sales forecasting accuracy and operational hygiene to support business management excellence.

Co‑sell and strategize with VAR partners, distributors, public cloud providers and alliance partners to land, expand, and protect NetApp footprint.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals tailored to meet customer needs.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our storage solutions.

Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings.

Job Requirements

Minimum 8 years of field technology sales with a focus on new logo acquisition and business development.

Sales experience in a specific location preferred.

Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving net‑new business.

Self‑starter who is comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

Strong understanding of partner landscape in a specific territory.

Broad exposure to a variety of data storage and cloud technologies/concepts.

Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service and negotiation skills.

Located within assigned territory and able to travel regularly to visit local customers and partners.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation The target salary range for this position is $274,550 – $355,300 USD. The actual salary will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range represents on‑target earnings (OTE), which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission. Final compensation packages are competitive and include a comprehensive benefits package such as health, life, retirement or pension, PTO, leave options, stock purchase plans, and restricted stocks (RSUs). NetApp offers an employee stock purchase plan and other benefits subject to regional variations.
