Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to help with the launch of our Oracle Recruiting Cloud go-live learning ecosystem during an upcoming parental leave. The first 30 days will be a structured transition period with the outgoing program lead to ensure full context handover.

This role will be critical to ensuring the successful rollout of our Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) go-live learning ecosystem, and will help power the centralized Enablement Delivery Engine that supports recruiters, coordinators, and interviewers globally at Uber.

This is a high-visibility role - ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, moves fast with clarity, and brings disciplined instructional knowledge and delivery execution.

Responsibilities

Develop and drive learning strategies that meet stakeholder needs and scale across the team.

Develop a team of Learning and Enablement professionals who work under and alongside you

Manage and communicate to a multi-dimensional network of stakeholders at all levels. Craft and present compelling impact narratives supporting learning and knowledge in an operational environment.

Qualifications

Nice to have Master's degree in education, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5-6 years of experience as a curriculum manager, instructional designer, technical writer, or in a related learning and enablement field

Experience designing and developing learning and enablement assets (e.g., course content, job aids, assessments, documentation, etc.)

Experience overseeing the operational planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in overseeing large scale learning and knowledge operations

Experience managing content development lifecycles
