Food and Beverage REPORTS TO:

Harvest Hall Operations Manager STATUS : Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant. Toast POS

Ability to serve a large section quickly and efficiently.

Communicating orders clearly with bartenders.

Maintain knowledge on all drink recipes.

Serve beverages to guests maintain levels of excellence service.

Perform side work as assigned.

Operate point of sale system.

Straighten chairs and keep floor free of debris.

Clean service area and replenish as needed.

Bus and set tables.

Handle cash and credit transactions.

Perform other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage.

Communicate with support crew and management.

Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.

Adhere to the Cash Handling Policy. End and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively

Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests.

Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC license.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred.
