GAS Foreman
to lead crews in the installation and repair of natural gas pipelines and related utilities.

Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate crew work to install natural gas pipelines via open‑cut or directional drill methods.
Obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and materials for each job.
Ensure all work quality meets project standards and is completed on schedule.
Delegate daily tasks related to digging and placing product, and gain entry to site buildings for work crews and call‑in utilities.
Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections.
Maintain accurate documentation and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
Train new hires and trainees on trade techniques.
Track employee hours and submit for payroll.
Call in utilities located at each project site and inspect existing utilities to ensure proper exposure and piping installation.
Operate, drive, haul, or assist with equipment to job sites.
Keep the job(s) moving on time, perform cleanup, and restore the site at completion.
Communicate with customers and inspectors.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications Minimum
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience with gas pipeline construction or maintenance, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
Proficiency in fusing, tapping, pressure testing, and purging.
CDL Class A license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
OSHA 10 certification.
Knowledge of gas safety and working standards.
Ability to read and interpret prints and customer specifications.
Proficiency in all phases of line construction.
Adherence to proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices.
Strong customer‑service skills and ability to interact with inspectors.
Experience operating heavy equipment and in general construction.
Visual inspection skills for fusion or welded joints, spot utilities, and identify color marks.
Able to judge distance and space relationships, with clear vision at 20 feet or more.
Precise hand‑eye coordination and the ability to distinguish colors.
Capacity to work outdoors, even in extreme weather conditions.
Preferred
Previous experience with Atmos Gas.
Physical Demands and Work Environment The job requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. The candidate must maintain clear vision, precise coordination, and an ability to judge distance.
