Job Description We are seeking a dedicated, self-starter and detail-oriented bilingual Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney to represent clients in matters before USCIS, EOIR, ICE and DOS.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Represent and prepare clients for immigration interviews and court hearings
Prepare filings, motions, and briefs with precision and care
Draft motions, waivers, request for evidence replies, and appeals to USCIS, EOIR BIA, and 9th Circuit
Efficient case management
Organize, plan, and schedule filing of cases on a priority basis
Stay informed about changes in immigration law and procedures
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Fluency in Spanish required
5 + years of experience representing clients in family immigration matters
Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and case management software skills
Ability to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues
Substantially self-sufficient in day-to-day case handling
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting
Team player with exceptional communication and analytical skills, ability to work independently, a strong work ethic, and a positive client-centered approach
