What You’ll Do:
Prepare and file immigration packets including AOS, I-130, U visas, FOIAS, Form EOIR-42A/42B, I-589, I-485, bond motions, and evidence packets among other types of cases and motions Manage USCIS and court deadlines and maintain case calendars. Draft declarations, exhibit lists, and indexes of evidence. Track and update clients on court hearings, interviews, and biometrics. Assist attorneys with trial preparation including organizing country conditions and exhibits. Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, many of whom have experienced trauma. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files using Clio and Docketwise. What We’re Looking For:
3 years minimum of immigration paralegal experience Proficiency with USCIS and EOIR forms and procedures Strong writing skills (cover letters, declarations, and motions) Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision High attention to detail and organizational skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred Experience using legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, Docketwise) a plus A hard worker who goes above and beyond What We’re Offering:
