ICCU’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Member Service Specialist (MSS), you will be the first face our members see and seek help from when they walk through the doors at one of our branches.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
Provide general information to members about our Credit Union Services.
Refer members to products and services that will assist them in achieving financial success.
Learn a variety of channels and systems to perform member transactions.
Utilize resources to resolve member concerns on the first contact.
Inform your manager of member needs regarding our products and services.
Demonstrate our core values of Honesty and Integrity, Respect and Dignity, Growth and Performance, and Improvement and Accountability in your behavior at work.
Required Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use a calculator and handle cash efficiently and accurately.
Ability to learn a variety of channels and systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union records.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Financial Industry.
Prior Experience in a Customer Service role.
This role requires physical abilities including the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
You must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.
