About the Role We are seeking a motivated, hands‑on individual to join our team as an
Entry‑Level Turbine Engine Overhaul Mechanic . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in aviation maintenance. You will receive on‑the‑job training from experienced technicians while assisting with the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of turbine engines and components.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in disassembling and reassembling turbine engines and engine components
Clean and prepare parts for inspection and overhaul
Learn to follow FAA and OEM guidelines for airworthiness
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Document work performed using shop records or digital systems
Operate hand tools and basic machinery in a safe manner
Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
Support senior mechanics and inspectors as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Willingness to learn aviation industry standards and safety protocols
Ability to work in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Previous mechanical experience (automotive, small engines, etc.) is a plus
Enrollment in or completion of an A\&P program preferred but not required
