Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Installer / Technician to install, service, and support camera systems, access control, and gate systems. This position is ideal for a technician who values clean workmanship, system reliability, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot IP and analog camera systems (NVR/DVR) Install and service access control systems including card readers, keypads, maglocks, and strikes Install and service vehicle and pedestrian gate systems and operators Pull, label, terminate, and dress low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax) Mount cameras, panels, readers, and control equipment Configure and commission systems for proper operation Read and interpret wiring diagrams and site plans Perform service calls and system upgrades Communicate professionally with property managers and clients Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Complete work orders and service documentation Required Qualifications
2+ years experience in low-voltage security installations Hands-on experience with cameras, access control, and gate systems Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring and terminations Ability to troubleshoot system issues in the field Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and outdoors Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HOAs, commercial, or industrial properties Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE switches) Manufacturer experience (Axis, Hikvision, HID, etc.) OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Customer-facing service experience What We Offer
