Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Strong focus on the sales side of the business including the sales processes, orders, logistics, billing, etc.* Involvement in the operational side of the business including exposure to mining, processing, quality control, and shipping.* A solid understanding of the support departments including the functions that they perform and how they support the business.
These include CCM, finance, and legal.* Complete various projects as assigned during the training program.
Projects may be operational, sales or business development related.
These projects are a great way for the successful candidate to really add value to the organization and increase their own skills while completing the training program.* Participate in continuous improvement exercises, including work that is heavily analytical, to seek new and changing ways to improve the profitability of the business.* Drive and promote a culture of safety and promote a safe work environment**What Are We Looking For*** A Bachelors or Advanced degree in sales/marketing, construction management, mining or another applicable program.* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Willingness to maintain a safe workplace and to perform hands on duties as part of an overall development program* Computer literacy* Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing situations* Willingness to travel and / or relocate for future assignments**Work Environment*** Dynamic and supportive team environment.* Opportunities for professional growth and development.* Engaging and collaborative workplace culture.**What We Offer*** Competitive base salary, 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions, highly competitive benefits programs, including:
