Cloud Account Manager (Finance)
Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a Cloud Account Manager to work closely with the world’s leading Cloud solution providers including Microsoft, Symantec, Acronis, and more. As a Cloud Account Manager, you will be in charge of managing the company’s relationships with its partners. You will be responsible for building strong, long‑term relationships with a warm portfolio of partners and generally stay with those partners for the length of their relationship with the company.
You will also be tasked with finding new partners, being assigned prospects, given existing accounts, or a combination thereof. This is an exciting end‑to‑end account management role, which means you will need constant oversight of your portfolio, including managing any issues or complaints, whether it be with finance, support, marketing, etc.

Essential Job Duties:
Generate sales among partner accounts, including upselling and cross‑selling
Operates as the point of contact for assigned partners
Develop and maintain long‑term relationships
Generate net new sales opportunities for channel partners by way of GTM strategies
Prepare quotes and proposals on demand when required by the partner
Communicate partner needs and demands to the company
Be constantly developing intelligence on your partner’s activity and market trends
Generate Sales Forecasts and track partner account metrics
Identify growth opportunities within the portfolio and execute growth plans
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete end‑to‑end management
Service multiple partners concurrently, often meeting strict deadlines
Keep records of client transactions
Generate business through new partner acquisitions (outbound calls)
Occasional visits to partner sites (if required by the business)
Ad‑hoc projects as per the business needs
Achieve sales targets on a monthly basis
Regular Attendance is essential for this role
Credentials: Required:
Account Management background or similar
Be tenacious, committed and competitive
Excellent Communication Skills (including listening)
Negotiation
Time Management
Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
Experience in Cloud Distribution (Vendor, Distributor or Re‑seller)
CRM systems (Dynamics, Salesforce)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation during normal business hours designated for the position
Compensation: Base Range: $42,000‑$49,000 and total compensation range $60,000‑$70,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
For non‑sales roles and sales roles with a variable component, total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets.
