Roze Room is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, celebrating 25 years of service to Southern California communities.
We are looking for Patient/Family Volunteers to offer soul support and compassionate companionship to patients and families. This is not a paid position.

About Us Our Roze Room Hospice Volunteers provide support to patients and families during their most vulnerable times. Founded by Lena Beker, our mission is to treat each patient with love, compassion, and dignity.
Position Summary Patient/Family Volunteers work directly with patients and families, providing friendly visits, companionship, and caregiver support. Services include companionship, active listening, reminiscing, caregiver support, reading to the patient, listening to music together, walking the patient’s dog, playing an instrument, light housekeeping, and playing cards or games. Visits are flexible; volunteers are asked to contribute 4‑16 hours per month with regular visits.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
California driver license or ID
Proof of current auto insurance
Social security card
Healthcare clearance
Hospice training and background checks are provided free of charge.
