In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and developing accounts within the DACH region, ensuring revenue growth while collaborating with your team to enhance business strategies and project specifications. Your role is crucial in creating impactful relationships that drive success across various industry sectors, facilitating safe transactions and secure access solutions for diverse clients.
Accountabilities
Managing and developing all assigned accounts within your region to achieve set targets
Spending around 60% of your time traveling and engaging with customers
Developing and executing the business strategy for new and existing accounts across the DACH region
Identifying new sales opportunities to increase market share
Introducing the latest products and solutions to clients
Devising and implementing account plans to accommodate strategic goals
Delivering the required support and training to accounts in your region
Conducting regular market analysis to determine customer needs
Representing the company at trade shows, customer events, and association meetings
Collaborating across business areas to efficiently deliver solutions
Maintaining customer details and activities using Salesforce CRM
Analyzing account sales figures to understand purchasing patterns
Keeping up-to-date with HID products and competitive solutions
Preparing accurate forecasts regularly using provided tools
Creating a partner community to maximize brand loyalty and revenue
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience managing accounts in a B2B environment
Proven ability to hit sales targets
Previous experience selling physical access control solutions is desirable
Experience in a solution selling environment, especially SaaS and/or cloud-based licensing models, is desirable
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Hands‑on attitude with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and standards
Customer‑first approach with a proactive attitude
Strong planning and organizational skills with adherence to deadlines
Initiative and enthusiasm in work
Willingness to travel extensively within the region (approx. 60%)
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Fluency in German and English, both verbally and in writing
