Overview Job Description posted 8 January 2026. Location: Hamilton - Hybrid (other nearby Finsbury Food Group sites may be considered). Shift: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave, with a planned start date in mid-February 2026.
Responsibilities
Develop and own the overall marketing strategy and ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
Lead the creation of annual marketing plans and campaigns, enhancing the yearly campaign planner with integrated marketing communications across online and offline channels.
Provide strategic input to the executive team on market positioning, growth opportunities, and competitor insights.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer insights to drive innovation.
Oversee the execution of key marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all platforms.
Develop and implement an integrated communications and branding strategy for internal and external audiences.
Oversee brand strategy and corporate messaging to ensure consistency across channels; manage corporate reputation and internal/external communications alignment.
Act as a key spokesperson when required, representing the brand at industry events.
Coordinate group-wide campaigns across multiple platforms and stakeholders; lead end-to-end planning and delivery of national and international trade shows to maximise brand visibility and ROI.
Manage budgets, suppliers, contracts, and logistics to deliver seamless communications.
Collaborate with commercial, sales, finance, procurement, IT/data, NPD/innovation, People Team, and external agencies to support delivery, budget efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
Drive digital growth and transformation, including SEO, paid media, content, and social strategies; optimise the end-to-end customer journey and monitor performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Engage with leadership to align marketing strategies with business priorities; present insights and strategic recommendations to the board and executive team; build relationships with industry bodies, media, and external partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in marketing.
Experience in managing complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Strong background in B2B and B2C marketing, digital strategy, and brand positioning.
Strong leadership and strategic decision-making abilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Deep expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and performance analytics.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and forecast ROI.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams while driving measurable business results.
