Senior Commercial Sourcing/Procurement Manager - Contract - Wilmington DE

Proclinical is seeking an experienced Sourcing professional to support US commercial services. This role is structured as an ongoing contractor partnership, embedded within the Commercial Strategic Sourcing organization, with defined scope, accountability, and measurable impact.
Primary Responsibilities The position may be filled at the Sourcing Manager or Senior Sourcing Manager level depending on experience, demonstrated capability, and ability to operate independently within a complex commercial environment. Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement, with additional experience expected for Senior level consideration
Demonstrated experience supporting Commercial categories such as Marketing Services, PR, Meetings, Exhibits and Displays, etc. or related services
Proven track record of delivering negotiated savings
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
Experience working within a Category Management framework preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Experience with P2P systems such as SAP and Ariba
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
A mindset focused on problem solving, influence, and partnership
The ability to work in close partnership with our teams as a trusted partner within a PSR engagement
Senior Commercial Sourcing/Procurement Manager's responsibilities will be:
Serve as a strategic sourcing partner to Commercial organization, providing ongoing advisory support and execution ownership
Review, assess, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and related agreements to secure cost savings, and favorable commercial terms while mitigating risk
Manage RFPs and RFIs, supplier negotiations, award processes, and post negotiation assessments and debriefs
Develop, review, and validate sourcing analytics including cost models, spend reports, savings and cost avoidance tracking, and contract documentation
Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and industry developments to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations
Manage semi annual supplier performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee contract review processes in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Commercial stakeholders
Support supplier onboarding, risk assessment, and ongoing supplier governance activities
Contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Commercial Strategic Sourcing function through process improvement and best practice sharing
Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining focus on delivery, quality, financial results, and speed to market
