Edward Jones has an opening for a Transitional Financial Advisor to maintain relationships with clients when former financial advisors (FAs) are unable to meet that obligation. The position requires flexibility, reliability and traveling full time to work in open offices. Desired candidates possess 2 or more years of experience as an Edward Jones financial advisor and are available to travel 100% with home visits scheduled every other weekend. Associates are responsible for managing travel expenses and submitting for reimbursement. Professional designations are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Preserve and restore client relationships when a former FA is unable to meet those obligations.

Provide excellent client service and suitable investment advice during the transition period.

Provide initial contact and ongoing guidance and service to the clients.

Research and resolve any service issues or unfinished tasks.

Work in partnership with the boa to ensure a high level of customer service.

Keep the department apprised of any Compliance / Field Service concerns.

Qualifications

Series 7, 66, and life, health, and variable annuity insurance licenses required.

100% travel.

2+ years of experience as an Edward Jones financial advisor.

Extensive flexibility, reliability, and strong decision‑making skills.

Strong communication, organizational, telephone, and customer service skills.

Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field is preferred.

Professional designations are preferred.
