The Arc of Indiana is a state-wide, not-for-profit association that advocates for people with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc Master Trust is Indiana’s leading special needs trust. The Arc of Indiana Master Trust serves people with all types of disabilities across the State of Indiana.

The Arc Master Trust is seeking a Trust Account Manager to join our trust team. This customer-driven role supports trust beneficiaries and their representatives through phone calls, emails, and the trust’s online portal. Attention to detail and being responsive to our clients are a must. The successful candidate will be highly responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with and supporting individuals with disabilities and plays a vital role in helping beneficiaries maintain independence and quality of life by ensuring trust funds are used appropriately and efficiently.

The Trust Account Manager reports to the Director of Beneficiary Services. This is a full-time in-office position located in downtown Indianapolis, IN.

Duties and Responsibilities Assist trust beneficiaries to access their funds appropriately, while not endangering public benefits Gather receipts, copies of bills, etc., to pay bills or purchase items on the beneficiary’s behalf Enter check and credit card payment information into the trust administration software to produce checks and/or credit card payments for various bills and expenses Work with trust beneficiaries to place online orders Update trust account records for all types of transactions related to trust administration Compose and type business emails and letters Assist Director of Beneficiary Services with special projects, as needed Perform clerical duties as needed Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Prior experience with government benefits and the needs of the disability community is a plus Excellent communication skills; confident communicating with individuals and families in stressful situations Prior customer service experience Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook Ability to multitask Accounting or bill paying experience is a plus High school education or equivalent
