Martin Marietta is seeking an Aggregate Sales Representative to join our Nebraska team. This role is responsible for driving sales of construction aggregates by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to contractors, producers, municipalities, engineers, and architects.
Location:
Martin Marietta’s Nebraska market is anchored by several key aggregate facilities—most notably the Weeping Water Mine, Dubois Quarry, Fort Calhoun, and West Center Sand—which supply crushed stone, sand, gravel, and aglime to contractors, municipalities, and producers across the state. The Nebraska operations are strategically positioned to serve the Omaha metro area and surrounding regions, supporting both infrastructure and commercial construction demand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Call on and develop relationships with a select group of construction aggregate buyers in the market area- including NDOT, Engineers, and architects-for pre and post project design and technical support, to meet their aggregate needs while achieving annual sales goals regarding selling price, tonnage and sales revenues
Effectively administer and communicate quotations, sales reports, expense accounts, and any other sales data necessary to meet job expectations
Develop new customers and increase company’s market share and profitability in market area
Assist ASM/DSM in developing annual sales plan
Provide frequent personal contact with key customer base to maintain maximum market penetration and profitability for Martin Marietta and ensure customer satisfaction
Effectively communicate with operating personnel to ensure plants are meeting customer needs and that proper inventory levels, particularly key products, are sufficiently maintained
Work closely with district credit personnel regarding new accounts and accounts receivable
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of related experience
Valid US driver’s license
Knowledge of the aggregates/construction industry strongly preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs.
