Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Metal Fabricator based in Commerce, CA. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components. Daily tasks include operating tools such as hand tools, power tools, and grinding equipment, as well as reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in metalworking, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials
Skillful use of hand tools and power tools for precision fabrications
Experience with grinding to enhance metal finishing and smooth components
Knowledge of forklift operation for safely handling and transporting heavy materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and practices relevant to metal fabrication
Prior experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work within a team
