Position Overview The Graphic Design & Production Lead is responsible for elevating and protecting the brand through exceptional design execution and disciplined production management. This role bridges creative vision and operational excellence, overseeing both internal design resources and external creative partners to ensure all visual assets are delivered with consistency, precision, and premium quality.

This role requires someone equally comfortable leading in-house designers day-to-day and directing external agencies, freelancers, and production vendors, acting as a unifying force across all creative output.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and review work from internal graphic designers, ensuring alignment with brand standards and creative direction

Direct and manage external creative partners, including freelancers, agencies, photographers, and production vendors

Clearly communicate creative expectations, provide actionable feedback, and ensure consistency across all contributors

Serve as a hands‑on design leader when needed, balancing execution with oversight Brand Stewardship & Design Excellence

Ensure all creative output reflects a cohesive, elevated brand across print, digital, and physical touchpoints

Translate brand strategy and creative direction into scalable systems and high‑quality executions

Maintain a strong eye for detail, craftsmanship, and luxury‑level finish

Design & Production Management

Oversee end‑to‑end production of marketing and brand assets (brochures, catalogs, signage, presentations, advertising, etc.)

Manage timelines, scopes, and budgets across multiple internal and external workstreams

Act as the primary point of contact for printers, fabricators, and production partners

Review proofs, samples, and final outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency

Process & Workflow Optimization

Establish clear workflows for internal teams and external collaborators

Create production guidelines, file standards, and review processes that support efficiency and quality

Balance creative ambition with realistic timelines and cost considerations

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to support campaigns, launches, and initiatives

Translate business needs into clear creative briefs for both internal and external teams

Support leadership with executive‑level presentations and materials

Qualifications Required

5 – 7+ years of professional graphic design experience

2 – 3+ years managing or leading both internal creative staff and external partners

Strong expertise in graphic design, brand systems, and print production

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and well versed in Ai tools such as: Chat GPT, Midjourney, Gemini, NanoBanano

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines

Preferred

Experience in luxury, interiors, fashion, architecture, or premium consumer brands

Strong understanding of print materials, specialty finishes, and production techniques

Experience working within evolving or repositioning brand environments

Leadership & Soft Skills

Confident managing and aligning diverse creative contributors

Clear, direct communicator with strong feedback skills

Highly organized and detail‑driven

Collaborative, calm, and solutions‑oriented

90,000 - 115,000 USD per year (New York 780 Building)
