Dayshift, Monday-Friday

Guaranteed Hourly Wage Position - No More Flat Rate! $28-38/hour, negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities

Provide technical service to equipment.

Read work orders, observe, and listen to equipment in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.

Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.

Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.

Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk

Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins

Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction

Produce quality work that evidence pride of workmanship.

Maintain your assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.

Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.

Adhere to manufacturer’s policy and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.

Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

2-year technical school graduate a plus but not required.

1-2 years fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop a plus but not required..

Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team

Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner

Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs

Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus but not required.

Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Physical Requirements

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10-20 pounds

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
